Dr. Priya S. Chand BDS, MSD, Diplomate, American Board Of Endodontics
Dr. Chand is a Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, India, 1999 graduate. In 2002 she received her Master’s in Endodontics from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Chand is board certified and a Diplomate of The American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Chand’s expertise spans a 20-year journey as an Academician and Clinician. She has been a full-time Educator at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, from 2003-2006. She worked as an Associate Professor, Predoctoral Director, Graduate Program Director, and Interim Division Director at the Division of Endodontics, University of Maryland, Dental school for over 14 years.
The doctor holds leadership positions in the American Association of Endodontics. She was President of the Edward Penick Endodontic Study Club in 2016. She is the recipient of the AAE Foundation Educator Grant Award 2017. Dr. Chand has contributed to a chapter in the Clinical Endodontics book published in 2018. She has publications in the Journal of Endodontics and continues her research interest in innovative technologies that contribute to successful outcomes in endodontics.
Dr. Chand has a calming approach that ensures patient comfort through the procedures. Her practice centers around an Evidence-based Practice Model. She provides the highest quality care and brings cutting-edge technology to her everyday practice. Some centers around Surgical operating microscopes, 3-D Imaging CBCT, and Lasers.
She was the President of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics in 2020 and is currently the Immediate Past President of the College of Diplomates (COD) of the American Board of Endodontics.
